Water is the central element of your stay with us. Our campsite with swimming pool in the Var, in the calm of a human-sized structure, is all about relaxation and swimming pleasure. You’ll enjoy two pools, including a vast swimming pool heated out of season, ideal for a few morning swims or a family moment of complicity in water that’s always mild. Younger children can discover the joys of water in complete safety in our dedicated paddling pool.
But the real magic of Les Pêcheurs lies in its direct access to nature. There’s no need to travel for miles: the River Argens runs alongside our estate, offering an exceptional playground for canoeing, paddling or simply contemplating from the banks. Opposite us, Lac de l’Aréna completes the nautical picture.
To complete this experience of letting go, our Wellness Area (adults only) opens its doors to you. Imagine yourself in the Spa, alternating between the dry heat of the sauna and the soothing bubbles of the Jacuzzi, before succumbing to the expert hands of our masseuses. How far is the campsite from the beach?
From the campsite, you have direct access to the Argens river via a pontoon at the restaurant, and the Aréna lake is about 100 m away on foot. For the sea, the beaches of Saint-Aygulf are less than 15 minutes away by car, and a summer shuttle service links the village of Roquebrune-sur-Argens to the beaches of Les Issambres in July and August. So you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the river and lake while staying close to the beaches of the Mediterranean.
Is the swimming pool heated?
Yes, the swimming pool is heated from the very start of the season, so you can enjoy a pleasant swim even when outside temperatures are cooler. There’s also a large pool for swimming or relaxing, and a wellness area with spa and sauna reserved for adults to prolong moments of relaxation.
Are sheets and towels included?
Sheets and towels are not included in the accommodation, so you can choose whether or not to travel with your own linen. We offer a rental service for sheets and towel kits, to be booked before your arrival, so that your accommodation is ready to welcome you at your leisure.
Are bicycles available for hire on the campsite?
Yes, we work with a partner bike rental company who delivers bikes directly to the campsite on the day of your arrival. It’s advisable to book your bike in advance of your stay; it’s an ideal way to discover the surrounding area at your own pace, between nature, river banks and Var vineyards.
Are pets allowed in all areas of the campsite?
Pets are welcome at Les Pêcheurs, for a supplement of €4/night (subject to current regulations). Dogs of the 1st and 2nd categories are not accepted, and we provide waste bags at reception on request; we count on each owner to ensure cleanliness and respect for everyone’s peace and quiet.
